Getting ready to teach our local event organisers a thing or two about websites on Monday, with our second round of digital marketing workshops hosted by the Ashburton District Council 👏👏

For most parts of the country right now, theres a collective sigh of relief as we move into level 3. More businesses can now open their tills in a safe way, to provide some much needed income.

I look around today, and I am so humbled to see the way NZ has embraced technology. We have cafes, restaurants and retail stores offering click and collect. Service providers offering online consults. Churches holding their sermons via live streams. Farms delivering their produce to our door steps. Offices collaborating with their teams via Zoom, and project management software.

Just..amazing! I'm so ready to get out there today (digitally of course) and show our local businesses my support, and congratulate them on their triumph of being able to offer these services safely to us.

Well done New Zealand!

Latasha joined the Pixel & Ink family last year to help me reign in the chaos of an increased workload, and she has been my right hand (wo)man ever since!

If you have had the pleasure of working with her during a project, you will know she has incredible attention to detail, and has a general obsession with getting shit done.

Fun fact - Latasha and I live on the same street and bought our houses only a month apart, almost 5 years ago now! My kids spend a lot of time coming up with excuses to go over to her house to hang with her little one, feed her chickens, and to be spoilt with home made baking, and I wouldn't have it any other way!

We have focused this tutorial on Elementor as it’s what most of our clients currently use, but you can use this same Instagram plugin with Gutenburg, or any page builder on Wordpress.

Ever taken a break from socials for so long that it feels really awkward to post again? 🙋🏼‍♀️

Ive never really been the best at keeping on top of socials, and yet it’s one thing that hangs out in the back of my mind all the time, and each day I hit that mental “not today” button, and then that’s me good for another day. I’ve even drafted a few posts along the way that never see the light of day. Is there like.. a self help club for this? 🙈

So Hi! Here I am, pressing publish.
If you haven’t seen my face before or completely forgotten who I am, this is me, looking all snazzy in some team photos we did last year (that I also haven’t got around to posting 😂)

Now that I’ve broken the ice again, I plan to show up a little more, drop some tips and tricks, maybe share some tutorials on all things web design, and show off a little of the work we do for our clients along the way.
